Club Development Manager
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary band: £19,000 to £23,300 (dependent on experience)
Start date: 1st February 2022
Job description
Bo’ness United Community Football Club (BUCFC) is a thriving grassroots club with charitable status, providing footballing opportunities and pathways for boys and girls aged 3-19 years. The club boasts 325 players from Bo’ness and beyond, and has a active pipeline of circa 80 players, primarily for the younger age groups.
BUCFC creates a fun and safe environment where children are encouraged to be the best they can be – on and off the pitch. It prides itself on its commitment to diversity and inclusion with a bustling girls section accounting for over 30% of its membership and has players from the Hungarian, Polish, Slovakian and Asian communities within Bo’ness.
The club sits at the heart of the community and has recently created men’s and ladies recreational football teams, and is looking to introduce walking football for older and less mobile players expanding its reach even further. BUCFC has been awarded the Scottish FA’s highest Platinum Quality Mark for its outstanding contribution to football and the wider community.
The club has an established Board of Trustees and Committee members, as well as a network of Scottish FA-qualified coaches and volunteers. However, it has grown to such a level that it requires a full-time member of staff to manage the day-to-day operations of the club and to help it develop its offering even further.
The successful candidate will drive forward initiatives to help the club fulfil its potential, create a strong local network of stakeholders, sponsors and charitable partners, and continue to seek out development opportunities for the players and coaches.
Those wishing to apply for the role of Club Development Manager should send their CV and a covering letter detailing why they would be a suitable candidate to communications@bucfc.com with “Club Development Manager” as the email subject line. We are a diverse and inclusive club and welcome applications from all walks of life.
The deadline for applying is 5pm on Monday 13th December 2021.
If you have not heard back by 5pm Wednesday 15th December you should assume your application has been unsuccessful.
